The Rolex Yachtmaster collection is a line of chronometers with COSC certification. The collection came out of Rolex’s assembly line in 1992 to provide a beautifully crafted watch for sailors and yachtsmen. The initial models were crafted in 18k yellow gold. Today it is available in two-tone 18k yellow gold and stainless steel. The Rolex Yachtmaster is the preferred watch or regatta-joining professional yachtsmen. Waterproof at 100 meters, the second generation Yachtmaster is bigger at 44 mm and has a programmable 10-minute countdown feature and a mechanical memory used by yachtsmen for tracking time as they position their boats at the start of a boat race. The caliber 4160 is employed.
